A Message from the Vice President

 

Welcome to the Office of the Vice President, Student Affairs Division. 

Each day I arrive on campus I am filled with joy and excitement as we welcome you to our university. This is a momentous occasion as you embark on a journey that will shape your future and open the door to limitless possibilities.  

As you stand at the threshold of this new chapter in your lives, I want you to know that the choice to attend Frostburg State University is a wise one. At Frostburg, our main goal is not only to provide you with an excellent education, but also to give you a fulfilling and meaningful college experience.  

Our campus comes to life with its many different clubs and organizations that cater to many different interests.  Students can participate in a wide variety of clubs and organizations, from academic and professional associations to cultural and recreational groups. Whether you are passionate about the arts, athletics, community service, or entrepreneurship, there is a place for you to shine and leave your mark. 

Our little town may not seem like much at first glance, but our community is one that will take you under its wing and help you form life-long friendships and connections. At our university, we pride ourselves on fostering an environment where every student is seen, heard, and valued. Our smaller class sizes allow for a more personalized experience with our professors who are genuinely invested in your success. We know and understand the importance of mental and physical health on campus. College life can be intimidating. Our institution offers many different resources and services to ensure the well-being of our students.
