Arts and Culture

Just a quick ride into downtown and you can take in a range of arts and entertainment, from theater to music to cuisine. And don’t forget: On our campus, there are dozens of art and performance organizations from which to choose that will help you find your passion.

On Our Campus

Just steps from your residence hall and classrooms is the Stephanie Ann Roper Art Gallery. This teaching gallery exhibits artists of local, regional, and national recognition, giving you extraordinary access and opportunities for academic pursuits and personal satisfaction.

The Cultural Events Series (CES) brings national and international performing artists to the tri-state region, allowing participants to experience and celebrate the arts through live performance, educational outreach, and experiential education.

And as a student, you'll find hundreds of student organizations to meet your interests—or help you explore new ones. Plus, we have outstanding venues such as the Woodward D. Pealer Performing Arts Center and Alice R. Manicur Assembly Hall where you will put your talents on display.

A few of our many diverse organizations include:

  • Artist Connection - by artists for artists
  • Paparazzi Perfect - Modeling Organization
  • Savage Mountain Stage Combat Club
  • The Bottom Line - Student-Run News Organization
  • Xenharmonics - A Capella
